Screw Pile Installation
Professional installation for all project scales
Purpose-built installation equipment
We use industry-leading installation equipment, including our own HyperTorq+ brand alongside Digga drive heads, selected according to pile size and site conditions. For confined or hard-to-access locations, installation can also be performed using hand-held electric equipment. This allows screw piles to be installed even where heavy machinery cannot reach.
Documented installation and verified performance
Each installed pile is measured and documented. Installation torque and corresponding load capacity data are recorded for every pile, and all installations are logged in a piling report. A copy of this documentation is provided to the customer, supporting transparency, verification, and project requirements.
Test piling and verification when required
When needed, we carry out test piling and pull-out tests to determine the optimal pile type and installation method before full-scale installation. This helps ensure that the selected solution matches real ground conditions and performs as intended.
Experience in challenging ground conditions
Paalupiste also operates in challenging ground conditions. We have experience installing screw piles in soft soils and peatlands using swamp-compatible excavators and equipment designed for low ground pressure. This allows safe and controlled installation even in demanding terrain.
International installation and training
Screw piles are well suited for international projects. The installation drive head can be shipped to site together with the piles, while the carrier machine, such as an excavator, can typically be rented locally. This is a clear advantage compared to many other piling methods, where moving heavy installation equipment across borders would be far more complex.
When required, we also carry out installations internationally and provide installation training for contractors and partners.
Flexible execution with a clear outcome
Whether installation is handled by Paalupiste, by trained partners, or by the customer's own team, the goal is the same: controlled installation, documented performance, and foundations that are ready to build on without unnecessary delays.
